Thank you for your replies they have eased my mind enormously. We never intended to buy but the apartment was just what we have always said we wanted the area is so clean and well kept plus we have a great view of the salt lake it was too good to miss. However my nervous and worries have kicked in now. Did you both feel like this?? Pam

Yes. I certainly did.

I sat on Torrevieja sea front whilst I tried to cater for it and get money off.

Had this thought of why am I do this, spending loads to buy a home in another country.

I then sat crying if I missed out on buying this exact home as it's perfect. Nice secluded area, but yellow brick round outside. Quick bus to town, carfoure shopping centre. Salt lake and amazing pool area.

It gives the chance of an escape route. Balcony to sit on, sea amazing blue sky and a community of many English speaking neighbours

Go for it. I'm over March, April and June so far this year, as I'm a full time nurse still

Jane.

I’m a full time nurse too!! But I’m retiring and returning in April on 3 days so I can help out with the grandchildren. Let’s keep in touch.

We bought in Banos de Europa fase 1 last Summer. We have stayed twice since and will be staying later this week. We have been really pleased with the purchase. Positives are; beautiful pool area, very quiet and peaceful (not experienced the Summer though), well kept and clean, excellent bus servi...

Thank you Dave we have also purchased in Fase 1 too. I believe there is a Facebook group which Bill said he’d add us to once we have completed the purchase. Looking forward to getting to know everyone

Hi there.

I'm Fase 111 and right next to yellow brick road and amazing pool. Were so lucky to have our homes. I bought mine a year ago and have stayed there 4 times already in 2023 and got 3 flights booked from now untill end of June 2023. I'm planning on finding friends close by to enjoy Torrevieja with...

Hi Jane, it seems you are certainly managing get good use out of your home. We are hoping to get out as much as possible also....its just work which gets in the way. 🙁. Hopefully in the years to come,  we will really benefit. We feel the urbanisation is in a fantastic location,  it seems to offer everything. We have heard that they are looking to build the new bus station near the large Carrefour. This could be a real benefit to us also - location wise.

Enjoy your home. Nice talking to you.

Speak soon. Dave.

Hi Pam, hope things go well with the purchase. Yes we joined Bill's Facebook group after the purchase. Really useful to keep in touch with things, especially when you're back in the uk. Bill is a really good bloke and looks after the area really well.  Fase 1 pool area is beautiful, the icing on the cake really. We fly out for 4 nights tomorrow morning.  May be a little cold to enjoy the pool though!

Nice talking to you and hope things go through quickly so you can really benefit.

Lots of UK immigrants in this area. Plenty of bars and restaurants within a 15-20 minute walk. With a great mix of nationalities. Some we use are King Food, Rendezvous, Sicillian, Marina Bar, Concertio, Dave's Place and the St James Gate area. Plenty of supermarkets Mercadona, Carrefour, Lidl, Hiperber all 15 minutes walk. If you don't have a car, a trolley dolly is a must or a couple of stops on the Linea B circular bus (€1.55)

Harbenaras shopping centre, C&A, H&M, Deals, Zara, Leroy Merlin DIY. Across the road there's a cinema, 10 pin bowling, KFC, Burger King etc

If you like football Euro Tour guide do trips to Elche CF pick up at Carrefour.

A walk into town will take about 35 minutes.
