We recently bought a property and need to undertake some improvement works.
Is there a place where we could get rid of unwanted fixtures ans furtitures? Or could we rent a skip?

Local charity shop could take some items or it you leave furniture at the bins on the street, you will be surprised at fast they disappear. Zdenek

Hire a skip, only 80 euros and you Can Keep it for as long as you wish . Don't leave at the bins, it makes streets untidy and gives us expats a bad name.
