However you find your property it is essential that you use your own independent lawyer to handle your purchase. Do not use one recommended by the agent or seller, ,who might have the interests of the seller rather than you at heart.

Hello and welcome to the forum,

Yes your be able to find something within your budget...you need to look hard and long and obviously it is a lot easier if you was here to view etc....photos can be very deceiving etc!

If and when you find anything it is always worth putting a cheeky offer in to start with? Property takes a lot longer to sell in spain then Uk and you never know people may be desperate to sell?

I have just read all the above and it has given me hope that my dream is'nt lost too. i am looking at Costa blanca south and i am ready to come over to look at properties but for covid it keeps getting cancelled. so thanks for the above it has really given me hope.
