Thanks, RayD. Another one I missed. I'll put my bike back in the shed ( anyway, my lycra doesn't fit since lockdown). I'll stay with the cigs, as all the local bobbies will be chasing the sports- bikers mask-free, round here, about 200 a day. 😇😀. V

That's some smoking habit if you are on 200 a day 😉

When I was out for on my bike I asked a Guardia Civil  traffic officer if I had to where a mask and was told it was not required? and I often ride into town and very rarely see a cyclist with a mask on.

Hi,

Now I'm really confused.....believe me it doesn't take much!

I run at least 4 times a week, when I'm walking from my house to the nature park just up the road I wear my mask but when I enter the park and start running I remove it. Please correct me as I want to get it right but last I was aware if you're in a wide open natural area and practising running/cycling because you're able to keep a minimum of 2m  you didnt need to wear a mask. This was o N332 website and Spanish Runners World ( also La Moncloa). The only people I do come across are cyclists and runners( we're the only lunatics out in this weather!) and I've never seen any of them wearing one.

I'm sure you knowledgeable gentlemen will help me out.  :)

Thanks

I was stopped by the policia local today for cycling without wearing a mask and was told if cycling for pleasure (as opposed to sport) wearing a mask is mandatory. As I was just out for a bike ride I had to put one one. He told me that it is not mandatory to wear a mask when running or cycling as sport. As a policia local, I expect he should know ....
