We didn't take a translater,but somehow managed to get through it.
I speak a decent bit of Spanish, but it wasn't required as the young lad in there was fluent in English and extremely helpful.

Can I ask one more thing. If we want to go to Alicante do we just go to the bus station and show our card and then pay the €1.50?
This is fab news, if so.
Zenia Boulevard is 1:50, Alicante will be a lot more, maybe circa 8-10 euro?

I’ve googled the price of a bus from Torrevieja to Alicante snd if you are over 65 it will cost €4.70. That could be single so it will cost under € 10 each return. Check out for yourself by calling at the bus station or Tel and enquire. enjoy your outing!
