House Insurance

We've just bought a small place in Dona Ines and are looking for house insurance.

Carefully read ALL the small print and you will be amazed about the many many exclusions from cover.

Hi Paul,
Avoid buying your Home insurance through a bank - it's typically more expensive. The only time it may be worth it, is if the bank is offering to reduce the cost of their Banker's Draft for paying property completion funds, so long as you take their insurance policy.
We've had our Home insurance with Liberty Seguros for 7 years, purchased through Jennifer Cunningham Insurance Agents, and have been very pleased with the level of cover and responsiveness received when we've had to make a claim. Every year I obtain alternative quotes, but yet to find another company to match it.

We are with Linea Directa for house,and car.
Had no probs when we had a couple of car breakdowns,but haven't needed to claim for any household stuff.

When we first bought a little bit naive used the bank insurance Bit wiser now using Linea direct very reasonable price
