I want to live in Torrivieja.

I am now a permanent wheelchair user, due to a serious Motorbike accident some 18 years ago, more of here :- www.sportsbiking.co.uk

Meaning , as I have very limited use of my right side, I WILL need some home help. I have 2 calls a day in the UK. 1 hour each call. However this will not be necessary in Spain. What I need help with is the following.

Food shopping. I love to get take to the Zoco Market. As fresh food is very important to me.

Preparing and cooking my meals. I do give instructions, haha.

Washing up.

Washing my clothes. I very rarely require any ironing.

Showering, probably 3 X's a week.

I do live alone, and have done for the last 3 years.

Any takers, lol,

Simon.

Most councils provide assistance for the handicapped according to their individual needs. For further details contact serviciossociales@torrevieja.eu

Thank you, but I was hoping to find someone who works for themselves. As I don't need to pay the premium of a nursing agency.

Hi Simon, good luck with your search for a daily help, just a word of advice, make sure they are qualified to carry out the care that you need, and make sure that they have the relevant certification to do that. There are some unscrupulous folk out there so take care, I hope you get a perfect gem, there are some around x

Hi Shirley.

I am still in the UK, Stockport near Manchester. The "Rainy city", so I need to get out to "Sunny Spain".

I am looking for somewhere around Torrivieja. Only as I have stayed there a couple of times and there seems to be quite a lot of English folk there. Which as I am now in this wheelchair, might come in handy !

I am not going to move until my parents have passed. Which, sadly for me, wont be too long. And is the only reason, I have put it on hold.

But as I have not bought anything YET, it means I can live anywhere. What's it like where you are ?

I currently live on an over 55's complex, by myself. I own 50% outright. Which will equate to about £80k. But as I am not too sure on what benefits I can receive in Spain, I DO NOT want to spend over £30k.. Which should get me a, 1 bedroomed, ground floor apartment ???

I simply adore going to the Zocco food market. I love to cook and to see all the various FRESH meats, fish and veg is wonderful.

If you prefer we could take privately via e-mail :- kilvi.hp@gmail.com .

Simon.
