Hi Anne 20

The rules state that -

Visitors taking up residence in Spain may import household goods and furnishings and personal effects free from duty and VAT if the items have been used for at least six months for a citizen of a non-EU country.

As to whether you need to have retained receipts to prove the age of the items, that is debatable.

Don't forget you will need to complete Customs declaration forms for each box

The shippers should be able to advise on all of that.

Hope this helps
