Hi all! I will be relocating to Alicante in a few months from the UK and my bosses have kindly allowed me to take my work with me and work remotely from home. Can someone please advise me if there is anything I need to do before I leave and what i would need to do once starting to work. Ie, do i need to let the tax people know, do i need any kind of document?? I'm looking for general info if anyone would be kind enough to help me. Thanks in advance!

If you'll be working as an employee, you don't need to take immediate action re that.

If you're going to be self-employed then you will need to register as such, pay into social security, employ a fiscal, register for value added tax, etc.

For all the other things you need to do, like registering as a resident, registering and paying tax on your income, exchanging your driving license, etc, etc, see my guides - the link is on the menu bar at the top of the page.

I advise you to read "Jim's Guides" that can be found in the drop down list of the menu on the left hand side of the page.

The guides will give you all the information you need.
