Residency application.

I am on the understanding that all appointments are now held in Alicante? Also l have been told there is a translation form? On C.A.B Spain website? I may be totally wrong but others may help clarify your post.

The online appointments system now only offers appointments at Alicante. If you want an appointment at another police station then you have to go in person and ask them. I don't know about Torrevieja, but I understand that Orihuela and Playa Flamenca, at least, are still processing applications.

Just one other question, on Jim's guide I have filled in the EX18 except for 1 part, in the first section there is a line for DOB where I have put my date of birth, town of birth and then there is PALS or it could be PAIS, is this for my country of birth, I couldn't see the explanation on the guide?

Also the section in EX18 which starts with modification, do i put anything there?

I missed that one, and you're the first person to spot it.

País - enter the name of the country where you were born, in Spanish, e.g. Inglaterra.

If you're using the EX-18 to apply for residency for the first time, don't select anything in the RESIDENCIA PERMANENTE, MODIFICACIÓN, or BAJA POR CESE fields.

I'm trying to keep everything regarding my application in one post, I applied for my S1 from the UK and it has arrived today but in the information sheet it goes as follows in the picture attached.

Does this mean I have to get private medical Insurance to get my Padron and Residency before I can get my S1 registered or is the information incorrect?

Also regarding the documents I need to take, I have both a Spanish and UK bank accounts, my pensions are paid into the UK account, will photocopies of my account showing what is paid in per month in English be sufficient or do I have to have it translated?

You request a temporary padrón to see you through the residency process.

You show your S1 as proof of health cover, so don't need PHI.

What is required as proof of finances varies between police stations, so I'd search for posts from those who have done it recently.
