Our oven keep throwing the circuit breaker as soon as we turn it on.  Can anyone recommend someone to repair the oven?  It is in perfect condition it just has not been used in several years.

Hi McMaria and Welcome to the Forum. You will find lots of help from knowledgeable people on here, plus there are very many useful articles on various Topics to do with life in Spain

Is the circuit breaker the oven is tripping ,only the circuit breaker for the Oven ,or is the circuit breaker controlling other Electrical outlets in your property. I.e. when it trips do other appliances or lights also lose power.

In addition, was the Oven working fine last time it was used ?

The bug is most probably a faulty heating circuit - I had this a few weeks ago. The problem might be getting a proper replacement depending on make and model. There are specialzed shops - I know one here ein Murcia which carries almost everything. If your oven has also a grill, first find out wich of both triggers the fuse by connecting them individually to the mains. Then remove the back panel and disconnect the easy visible upper or lower termimnals. The heating unit itself is usually fixed by two screws acccessible from the oven`s inside. Remove screws ad extract heating unit. Get replacement and assemble - you save a bunch.

To give reliable advice We need more details from the O.P.on points I have raised in my earlier post .

Would not recommend dismantling the oven and carrying out Electrical connections unless fully competent to do so.
