Non resident
Hi Everyone,
I’m a non resident for a couple of years, does anyone know the best way to pay the non resident tax and the cost. I’m Irish passport holder. Many Thanks in advance.

Hi Mick,
There’s plenty of recommendations and advice on the forum. If you use the search facility at the top right hand of the page. Just type in Non Resident Tax and you will find lots of recommendations and advice of how you can do it yourself.
You will find that the fees for doing this for you vary, I currently pay £34.95 for our Non Resident taxes to be prepared that’s for the two of us not each.
As I say, have a search on the forum, then you can decide what’s best for you.
Regards
Anne

Hi Mick,
From personal experience, I recommend Spanish Tax Forms:
https://spanishtaxforms.co.uk/spanish-property.html
But as Anne has suggested, you'll find many recommendations on this forum, including local Spanish "asesorias" who can do this for you, much cheaper than most lawyers.
Kind regards,
Kim

If you have a digital certificate, there is nothing to stop you doing it yourself.
If you pay for someone to do it for you then they will provide a copy of what they have done - you can use that as a template to complete subsequent returns.
While the form is obviously in Spanish, it's not the most complex sheet of A4 to either understand or complete and you'll have to have provided the information needed to complete it to any 3rd party who you pay to do the service for you.
It is of course a question of time and whether you want to save yourself a relatively small amount of money by doing it yourself or simply want the hassle free life of paying an advisor.
