Is Torrevieja Local Police running any Lost & Found Offices and is it possible to contact these instances directly using e-mail?
The lost property office phone number is LOST PROPERTY 607225181 but says Spanish only
The office is in the town hall on Plaza Constitucion open 0815 to 1430

Dont bother with emails as they won't be answered ( you could try in spanish) Apart from the phone number you have been given, this is the Police Station nr Carrefour where a friend reported lost/found in the past. You could call in and check at the front desk

Thanks for the info, but it does not necessarily bring me any further. I am currently abroad and do not speak Spanish, so without local help this is a dead end for me. Phone IMEI available from me.

There is an email address but that is the local police station opposite Carrefour. Whether they will deal with it or not you could try.
May get lucky.
