Hi folks, I am looking for a security system for my house. My main concerns are squatters, primarily, thieves secondarily. Therefore, I am looking for a system that will:

a) scream loudly (to announce to everyone that the guests are uninvited)

b) is connected to either a police dashboard or some sort of security dashboard - so that immediate action will be taken

c) being smart is not a must have but a huge benefit (e.g. I will be able to see through the cameras remotely from my PC/phone)

d) cameras store at least the last 48 hours of recordings somewhere where I can easily access it (cloud)

Now - it seems like the Verisure / Securitas Direct have all that covered. Seems - I speak zero Spanish and their website is not expat friendly. However, in another thread, many people mentioned issues with the company and the Google reviews are dreadful. Also, I can't even find a pricelist so I have no idea how expensive this is. I fill in the online quote with the help of Google Translate but can't submit because they don't accept foreign phone numbers. What a load of...

Any recommendations, please? I could potentially fulfill points C and D on my own using Raspberry Pi and some camera modules but I'd rather have it all professionally delivered.

The suggested SECURITY does not exist, i.e. an effective surveillance preventing from anyone braking in a property. Instead, it is an alarm system subject to be tampered and eventually making a lot of noise.

Hi. I use to use security directa and to be honest for more or less 150 a month they did eff all. Essentially, I was away for over a month and my home was robbed to the point where they even stripped my roof, plus the cameras and alarms that the company provided lol. I have had quotes since then from other firms, and they really do not do what they say. It is usually down to you in the end to phone the pice, and they only alert you...so I have bought 5 cameras from carrefour, meant for indoors, but fine outside, at 28e each and they can be linked to multiple devices. You can use the speaker if you get an alert and shout at the top of your voice for any intruders to bugger off. Night mode and great value, they do as much as most companies do. If you would like any help translating though, I am happy to
