Me and a family member are thinking about buying a place in Tarbena is it a safe place to have a holiday home and what's it like for walks,cycling and general hobbies. Is it a quite place ,and is there much going on at night is. Restaurants and entertainment. All options appreciated. Thanks
Hi John22. Just wanted to welcome you to the forum. Sorry I can’t help with any info. on the area you are interested in, as I believe it is in the North Costa Blanca and Dehesa de Campoamor is in the South. Good luck with your search. I hope you find what you’re looking for.

If you like the quiet, a beautiful mountain scenery, a laid back small village and winding roads for walking and cycling go to Tarbena.
If you're looking for mondaine, night life, bustle and hustle, lots to do for kids..., skip Tarbena and move to the coast ( or Ibiza).

Sorry to hijack your post with an entirely unrelated topic but having looked through interesting posts came across this advert for LIGHT IN THE BOX. I accidentally bought an item from this company which I wanted to return. It has proved absolutely impossible to do this as they are a company registered and based in China and there is absolutely no way of contacting them. The dress I bought was very, very poor quality and to add insult to injury they sent in the same parcel 2 dresses both identical in size and pattern! I feel I was scammed and hate to feel how duped I have been by this rubbish purchase.
Once again so sorry to hijack your post but can't find anywhere I could have legitimately posted it.
