Hi Debs...have you tried Pau 8 just over the Canal...few minutes walk from V. Plaza?...we moved here twelve months ago...a Lola Bungalow with Solarium..we love it! A good mixture of permanent and non residents...

Good luck with your search...Hennie

hi there, i am looking into buying an apartment and was wondering what location would best suit us. We dont drive so would like somewhere within walking distance to plaza, also how far away are the beaches.

We are going to visit soon and rent an apartment to get a feel for the area, also is it a good area for winter holidays? Many thanks x

Hi Jobo,

We think it is a great area to live in. We purchased primarily as a winter holiday home, as we love the area. If you like walking or cycling there is a lovely canal route that goes for miles.

The nearest beach is 4 km from the plaza. La Zenia shopping centre (the biggest in Alicante) is 3 km away. To explore the area properly, a car would be best.

Plenty of properties in the area for you to rent. We have a 2 bed apartment that has some limited availability if you are interested. We can also put you in touch with an excellent local Estate agent in Villamartin who knows the area really well.

Hope you enjoy your holiday.
