We live in Villamartin Orihuela Costa and are looking for a reliable DEFRA recognised transport to take our Yorkie Lucy back to the UK. Lucy is chipped and is due to have another Rabies jab on the 2nd of August so the Vet can issue her an EU passport.
Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks in advance

Disregard surface transport as this will take 2 days or more and you have no way to know where and how is your pet. Air transport is not cheap but very reliable and takes only a few hours. Not all carriers accept live animals as cargo and you will have to rely on the traditional airlines like BA or any other offering direct flights. Talk to BA. Any others involve tyranshipments and should be avoided. I worked for SAS, TWA, and otherts and klnow what I'am talking about. In any case mind Iberia. Good luck - you?ll need it.

I used Paws on the move when bringing my pup over from uk.They are based in catral.An excellent caring service.

Look at Sharon Transport. My daughter rescued a dog here at Xmas and they transported it to the uk. Absolutely fantastic. She had updates and photos all the way along the journey. The dogs were frequently walked on a lead and toileted. It cost about £500. It was very impressive and the dog was in mint condition when she arrived. They arrived at her doorstep the exact time they specified. Highly recommended.
