An Asesor Fiscal is a tax consultant.  I'm sure someone in the Villamartin area can recommend someone they use for their Non-resident tax returns.

If you want to submit your tax returns yourself, you will need to obtain a Digital Certificate or Cl@ve, and an electronic signature.  The first can be obtained from your Town Hall, SUMA office or the Tax office, and the second can be downloaded from the internet, e.g. AutoFirma.  Although you can apply for a Digital Certificate or Cl@ve online, you will need to present yourself in person at an authorising office, in order to verify your identity.

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi Kim. I know this is an old message but I obviously saved it and I am now over here at Villamartin and thinking about paying this tax..... I am going to go to my Suma office to ask about a digital certificate or CL@ve. I am a little confused about how to sign it though. Can I sign something physically? I tried to download something from Autofirma but I can't download it on my browser ChromeOS. Can you guide me any more please? Regards, Peter Maycock

Hi Peter

Get an appointment for a digital certificate at the ayuntamiento/town hall in Playa Flamenca (either pop in and ask for one or do it online).

At the appointment, you will need to show photo-id, they will then give you a slip of paper telling you what to do next on your PC/laptop when you get home. Once done, go to suma.es and when it prompts you for digital ID simply click on the file that it automatically detects for you. At this point you can pay your bill.

The problem for me was that it doesn't work on Android devices, I had to do it on my wife's laptop.

Cheers

Steve
