Hi Peter

Get an appointment for a digital certificate at the ayuntamiento/town hall in Playa Flamenca (either pop in and ask for one or do it online).

At the appointment, you will need to show photo-id, they will then give you a slip of paper telling you what to do next on your PC/laptop when you get home. Once done, go to suma.es and when it prompts you for digital ID simply click on the file that it automatically detects for you. At this point you can pay your bill.

The problem for me was that it doesn't work on Android devices, I had to do it on my wife's laptop.

Cheers

Hi Steve,

It's me again looking for info. I went to my local suma office today to get the link and code. Unfortunately I hit the same block as you - couldn't download it on my android. Now I am faced with having to try and do it on my daughter's apple device when she comes over in December. I am currently looking at the page and it is saying if you leave the page without downloading all information is lost. Did you have to go to the suma office and get a second code when it didn't work on your wife's laptop? Cheers, Peter

Hi

No I didn't have to go to get a second code, I simply tried again on the laptop.

I suppose if you have a local friend you trust, with a laptop, you could ask them to use it for a while?

I might use Google to try to find out if you can take a copy of the certificate from the laptop and manually install it on an Android device.

Cheers

Hi again Steve. Hope I am not bothering you too much. I have been to the Suma office again to try and get the necessary certificates and I think I may have them? I think you said the next thing to do was to go to Suma.es and use the digital certificate to sign in. How does that work? Is there somewhere where you calculate how much non residents tax?  Regards, Peter
