Which UK company gives you an annual insurance for £38?

We don't really want to buy a car if we can help it because we would have to leave it parked up outside for at least 6 months in the year.

We always turn down the extra insurance but the deposit is huge.

Google search. Car Hire Excess insurance.

I think mine is with

Icarhireinsurance

I hire cars around 6 times per year so the annual cover is a really good option.

I'm never comfortable with the 1400e deposit, but as long as you go over the car when you pick it up and drop it off. That's all you can do,  the insurance just gives you that extra  piece of mind.

Yes, car hire is very cheap but they make their money on the insurance. So you have to read all the details and check all the scratches on the car and make sure those are recorded before you pick it up and make sure it's in good nick when you return it, or you could loose your deposit. So we are ...

...planning on buying a car.

Ive paid off all my credit cards and im never having one again!! Are there car hire places at alicanye airport that you can just pick up a car??

There are a few. But you will always pay more because you have to purchase their insurance as opposed to leaving a deposit.

I'm sure there are taxis. But hiring a car for 2 weeks is so much cheaper than one taxi fare, we've never really looked for taxis.

There is a bus which you can book from Alicante Airport to La Zenia Boulevard or Villamartin Plaza  through the Benniconnect site and it is 20 euro each way.
