Not for everyone I’m sure, but if you are reasonably fit and healthy I would take the risk.

...r if against FCO advice ugh! Like many others we will just have to wait until the FCO open up the air bridges again ,when ,who knows?!

We feel much safer here than in the UK.  We are retired so no problem to quarantine on our return (we were almost doing that anyway before we came).  The news makes both Spain and France sound awful but if you are sensible you should be fine.  Much rather be here in the sunshine sitting round the pool than back in the UK.

...-19 cover and paying a small sum extra to travel to a country against FCO advise.

The lady confirmed 100% that their policies would be invalid if someone travels to a country against FCO advice, I explained that the wording on the Staysure policy is confusing and misleading but she explained that all customers should read the small print.

Whilst Spain sounds very inviting at present we have decided to cancel our intending visit until the FCO lifts restrictions. People will have a different view from us but we wouldn’t want to take ill in Spain without full insurance cover.
