the UK Gov website advises that a antigen test is sufficient for returning from the UK, it does not say that children (11 to 17) must have a PCR test. Children do need to take a PCR day 2 test when back in the UK.

Yeh the govt site is a bit vague when it comes to kids and what type of jab they need for fit to fly going to the uk.

Hi,
I would say that if kids needed a different test then they would state that on the gov website. Of course easy for me to say as I am not the one travelling back with the 13yr old!
I'll have a look around and see if I can get a more definitive answer. Meanwhile someone who has flown back with a youngster may post their advice.

I was at the Dentist today which is opposite the Pharmacia in La Fuentes & the Pharmarcia was mobbed, queues round the block.

Hi,
when we were in Spain late June it was not too bad but with the increase in tourists plus there may be ex-pats having their tests if they are flying on Monday I can imagine it is a lot busier.

Absolutely, it was inevitable it would be busier especially as Dam Clinic seems to have issues.

Hospital Quiron won’t turn you away! Book online but if fully booked, pop over and make your own booking .They charge €45 and results are ready in 30 minutes in printed form.

Hi, my friend used them last week. 50 euros. You need to book an appointment early. 5 of us are booked in for Wednesday. If you phone after nine was an English speaking assistant.

Thanks for everyone's info. Ive booked in advance via email. Unsure if we need to join the large queue or if that is for walk ins but will update on here later
