It’s a great idea! We have literally just bought in Villamartin and got the keys in Jan.

Absolutely love it and are trying to get out as much as possible. We bought through Home España who were very helpful. We spent the first visit mainly looking at the area and a few properties. 2nd visit narrowed down the specific areas we liked and viewed loads of properties. That time we also rented the type of property we were thinking of buying rather than stay in a hotel to get a feel for the area.

Good luck and any questions please ask 😀

Hi Rich

If you contact Adam at Vista Casas, based in Villa Martin you will find him very helpful, the apartment I had in mind is sold by him ref; 1533

Hope you find what you are looking for, it's an excellent area with everything on your doorstep all year round.

Jan

Hi

Villamartin a great area, I would advise a resale or not a new house or apartment only because they seem to be sited in the better areas ie not too near the busy and noisy areas

All new builds imo,  seem to be right on top of, or beside busy roads and very noisy places, if thats your choice then you have plenty to choose from

Villamartin is a bit more pricey in the area because the plaza and surrounding area offer so much ie the beaches are near and the massive shopping centre

Good luck whatever  you do

Yeah Defo not new

Am after a cheap apartment within walking distance to shops and beach etc

But like to walk and stay fit so don’t have to be right on them

Or maybe a villa outside of town that needs a bit of work, come from a building family so no bother doing the work myself

Just so many places to chose from it’s really hard to pick one

So am coming over soon for a week to view some :)

Hi, I am just in the process of buying, and after quite a look around I have settled for La Siesta in Torrevieja. It’s next to a natural park and seems a perfect base it’s a sweet little bungalow and the area is very pretty. The beaches are not to far away and the people are really friendly. Lots of good walks as well, plus some bars and restaurants a short walk away, can’t wait to get back now, good luck with your search 👍
