Holiday home then retirement - Page 2

We moved to Villamartin in July 2015 and have settled really well. We did not really know the area before we came so we have been renting an apartment in Las Ramblas. However we have no regrets about making the move and are now in the process of buying a property. We love the weather and the lifestyle. My husband, Les plays golf 3 times a week at Campoamor golf and we are buying a house on that urbanisation. We are both 52. If you would like to meet up for a drink and a chat we could pass on lots of information that we have picked up during the 7 months we have been here.

Thank you so much for your lovely message. We have been working really hard during our stay painting house top to bottom. Builders booked now to do outside and fitting grilles. We go back on Wednesday but on our next trip over it would be lovely to meet up. I will be back in touch then . Thank you again.

I paid 500 euro per unit which I had fitted before Christmas

Very happy with the work and the units

Yes everything going on now, should be finished early April. Hubby going to pay builders etc so fingers crossed all will be well.

I meant going to Spain for a few days, obviously need to check works before payment! Then we are over again in June, can't wait.
