It could be expensive, but I've never researched the details. I understand that the registration fee alone is nearly €100, plus the scooter would need an inspection to ensure it complies with Spanish requirements etc. And if it's not done withing a couple of months after moving to Spain, then import tax would also be due. In fact, post Bexit, import tax might be due anyway.

I suggest you email Leigh on the website I referred to, or check other people who do transfers, to be given an idea of the total cost.

A "Certificate of Conformity" from th manufacturer is vital to keep costs at a minimum.

which vespa is it?

it cant have a non standard exhaust , shouldn't be modded up. get the quote and bear in mind a geared P 200  is around 1500 euros  out here so weigh that up

 I sold  my scooter in Brittain and bought a Vespa TX 200 ( a p200 engine in a T5 body only made in Spain.)

It cost me 1300 all in and I am now getting out 2 or 3 times a week with the costa blanca scooterists check them out on face book.
