Hi, does anybody know anyone who transports items of furniture, boxes of bedding, linen etc and roughly how much does it cost ?? Thanks - Page 2

I thought last night when I got my dimensions cocked up I came across a site called anyvan they take part loads for you, I got a quote for £600  then a couple of hours later one for £300 . So pays to wait a while.

Ye, been in touch with them, lowest quote £1225 highest quote £4100😱 I’ll keep searching, thanks for the help

We used parcels2go to send a box out to Spain with bedding, and bits and bobs it was picked up 5 days before we travelled out to Spain for a tidy up of our new property that was at the end of June, the box arrived battered and hanging by a thread in October, I leave you to decide if that's something you want to happen to you.

They do have a live chat facility, which was next to useless as every time we chased up the delivery they told us they did not have the means to contact the local carrier! In this day and age I could not believe they had no contact numbers, eventually we had to get the MD involved, starting by sending a recorded delivery complaint letter.

I put a less than glowing review on their website which never appeared, which shows they only allow positive reviews ( if they can be believed) to be published, so my advice would be take the reviews with a pinch of salt.

All this happened a couple of years ago, so maybe parcels2go have upped their game and improved their customer service.

Many thanks Terry will def bear in mind but unfortunately have to make the dream come true as cheaply as possible, got animals to bring over and they are costing a fortune! Thanks anyway , concerned about the reviews especially Mon.
