Renting In Villamartin

Hi my name is Tina (residing in UK currently). I am interesting in moving to Villamartin or La Marina (unsure of which one is best!).

Any info on renting in the above as I don't know anyone in Spain.

Also how long can you stay as a non resident at one time?

Information would be much appreciated- Thank You

As a non resident you are limited to staying in Spain for 90 days maximum in a rolling 180 days.

If you want to stay longer you must apply for a visa.

Hi we long term rent in Villamartin and have done for the last year. You are allowed 90 days in 180 days. We have chosen to do a month about and it suits our needs. We have a Spanish car which is a must if you want to travel afar. We use Alacante airport and have our car picked up and park for us at a cost of €329 p a no restriction of uses.

As others have said, If you are a UK passport holder you are only allowed to remain in Spain (Schengen area) for a max of 90 days in a rolling 180 days. However, there are many lovely countries that are outside the Schengen area. I'm thinking Croatia, Malta, Cyprus, Turkey etc ...Don't forget Ireland ( lovely country and you might be lucky with the weather).
