Thanks for the info. A lot of places are showing as furnished so I’ll probably just bring my T.V’s.

Bring a few 4 gang and 6gang extension leads from the UK. Pay a little more and get the surge protection ones for your TV and computers etc.

When you arrive, get yourself to a Ferreteria or bigger store like Brico Depot or Leroy Merlin and simply cut off the UK plug and replace with a Spanish Schuko plug. As 'Movingon' rightly states, keeping the earth for items is really important.

There are many different types and options and most of which are relatively inexpensive also.

I am considering installing a couple of 2Gang UK sockets with the USB charging outlets in a Casita (when I finally get round to building!) for guests to use, so if that is your plan also it may be worth considering.

Finally, your favourite products... bring me a jar of coffee if you like!!

Have a safe trip and welcome to Spain... when you get here !!!

Hope that helps

Would people suggest bringing my rattan garden furniture or is it cheap over there?

Garden furniture is very expensive over here. Try googling Leroy Merlin to price up possible replacements but then you've got to factor in how much it's going to cost you to get it over here as I imagine it's quite bulky.

Yeah it’s fairly bulky but not very heavy, I’ll vacuum pack all the cushions. Thanks I’ll google it.
