Hello, I’m coming to villamartin in may and not to sure whether to book flights to murcia or Alicante. Just wondering if anyone knows the rough costs of a taxi from murcia airport- villamartin & Alicante airport-villamartin just a rough guess so I can work it out with flight costs.

Airportrunsrus are good I use them and they charge about 50euro for a minibus they are on line . Hope this helps

If you are here for less than 8 days. Hiring a car will be cheaper then a return taxi

Yes I did think that but I’ve not driven abroad before and others I’m traveling with not keen on driving either. There are 4 of us coming so at least cab fare can be shared. I will generally be traveling with my partner who is always happy to drive so I’ve never had to, but he’s not coming on this trip. I definitely need to get over fear of driving abroad 🙈 will be coming over regularly so will have to.

Between 4 of you a cab won't be much. I regularly hire cars at Alicante usually less than 15€ per day. Murcia flights are usually more expensive then Alicante mainly because of lack of competition.
You would save about 40€ return in cab fare flying to Murcia. But between 4 of you will pay more than that flying to Murcia

Airport taxis are very expensive - I pre-book a pick up service before I arrive as our return flight is always silly o'clock in the morning (8.00) - normally 110euros for return trip
There's also the Airport bus every hour - 7euros

Hi 271935, which car hire company do you use for €15 per day, and do you have to pay collision dsmaga waiver and fair fuel policy costs on top of this?

Holiday autos.
Pick best on airport deal.
Go full full on fuel
Buy annual car hire excess policy in UK. £35 per annum.
Put deposit on Cc when picking up and refuse their insurance
