Another carhire scam.
Hi everyone, I recently returned to Uk using Goldcar carhire and they charged me 35€ for not leaving them my documents which I have always brought home in case of a discrepancy regarding pre existing damage. I have used them many times and despite other bad feedback, I had had no experience of this before with them. Nowhere in their terms and conditions on their leaflet does it make you aware of this charge, only states "on return of vehicle and documents".....I waited ages for a vehicle inspection and eventually the office guy just looked at my contract and fuel receipt and told me to go, saying it was" ok ,its all automatic, please go". Then the charge next day after returning on my credit card stating" failure to return document". They,ve ignored 3 emails and I guess thats it. This is a new one to me so beware.
