I would land on the side of caution! The funnel web may have a sharpie and have coloured in its distinctive markings to hide its true identity!!!!
In all seriousness, in my opinion, the answer to your question 'What type of spider is this' has two possible answers - a) deceased or b) a long long long long way away!!!!
You are more brave than me for getting that close!

Lol I will admit I nearly dropped my phone taking that photo as I was shaking then ran from it 😂 My son managed to put it in a pot and let it go well away from my house. I think it’s a funnel web, been looking at google. 😬😱
