Hi everyone. I am currently considering a move to Alicante or the surrounding area but would like to now more about the work situation there. I have a lifetime of experience in construction,mainly brickwork and want to hear if there is much work there and what to expect as far as wages are concerned. Thanks in advance. Sam😀

We have been conned by an English guy based in Murcia .. we paid nearly 1500€ in advance for a custom made pool table ...it was delayed and then he blocked my husband from contacting him last week and we cannot get hold of him..I am not sure if he advertises on here but we contacted him via another Facebook page.... if some called SEAN JOHNSON  AKA SEAN MOSS...tries to advertise please don't give him business. Sadly we know of others losing far more.than us when he claimed to be able to do extensive electronics work. We will be going to the authorities but please beware of this man

I didn't need a dentist .I got it fixed for 130 in torrevieja from a young Spanish company.

I am arranging pet rabies vaccinations in the UK and to take up a teaching position in Valencia.  I have looked at the Alicante airport map and can't find here I should collect them.  I had a bad experience in Gran Canaria where they lost my cat for 2 hours thinking Id bought her for breeding purposes !  So I am a bit concerned.

Can someone tell me where the collection point is at Alicante airport?  Can I hire a car and drop it off at Valencia airport or at a Valencia office?  I believe it takes about 2 hours to get to Valencia.  I've been there befire but on a coach trip.

I will have a suitcase, laptop and three crates Labrador and 2 cats.  Any ideas, advice?
