Good Morning,

tI hope you can help with some advice. I really just wanted to test the water as I have my heart set on spending as much time as I can in either Mil Palmeras or Torre De La Horredada when I fully retire next year. I would like to rent for two or three months a couple of times a year initially . I am on my own though and although I am friendly and reasonably outgoing I am worried about getting started in a strange place. I am coming over to explore at least twice this year to check out where I think would suit me but I would appreciate some advice on any local groups either virtual or real that I could contact as a good starting point. I am frantically trying to learn Spanish …

Any advice or pointers would be gratefully received..

Hello everybody,

We get the keys to our new little villa on Friday in Mil Palmeras.  I just wondered if anyone could recommend a good house insurance to use.  The one our solicitor is  recommending is very expensive and I need to have some comparisons.  If Im perfectly honest, I am not a huge fan of insurance, never having had to make a claim for anything, I suppose I am lucky in that respect.

We are soon coming out to Mil Palmeras to our new purchase and wondered if there was any cheaper way to get from Murcia airport to Mil Palmeras other than Taxi as the charges seem very expensive.  Are there any Mil Palmeras residents that offer a cheaper service?

Hello everyone my name is Jill and I have just bought a little house in Mil Palmeras.  I am very exited to be joining the Mil Palmeras group and hope to be signed up by the end of April.  My question is what is the best and cheapest way to get from Alicante airport.  We have done a few ways i.e taxi and bus but wondered if there is a better way as it seems to be taking us forever to get to where we need to be.  Any other tips and advice regarding holidaying  in Mil Palmeras would be gratefully received.
