We are waiting for an apartment being completed in Oliva and would appreciate any advise with setting up electricity provider, broadband and insurance.

Our bank have suggested they can provide house insurance although I'm not sure this is our best option.

We will not be using the apartment  as our permanent residence although we will be out for a few weeks at a time

Fiona and me are moving to Oliva September this year.  We will be renting for 6 months. Can anyone please advise if there is a safe self storage unit in Oliva or Gandia, so we can store our furniture.

I am new to this forum and having read the advice given in a number of other threads, I am hoping to apply that advice.

I will be coming to stay in Olivia for a couple of weeks mid February for the purpose of exploring Oliva, Piles and Gandia in order to see if I will be tempted to buy a holiday/permanent home in the area  

Firstly, I would appreciate a breakdown of the different districts that make up each of those towns and your  assessment of each of those districts if any of you are so inclined to provide that.

Secondly, I would be interested in meeting some of the permanent resident ex pats for a coffee/drink to discuss their thoughts, ideas on moving to the area.

Is there anyone interested in knowing and learning Kyudo, the Japanese art of archery? I want to organize a weekend Kyudo workshop at the Font Salada Hotel in Oliva. If there are enough people interested it will be the weekend of the 27th and 28th of this month of January. It can be a different weekend to relax, learn something new and enjoy good food. We'll have a great time! Tell me if you want more information.

My partner Fiona has a Skutt Pottery kiln. If we purchased an apartment in the Oliva area.  Would we be allowed to install it in the apartment?
