I have been looking at options for getting to Oliva from Alicante airport and wanted to know the best way.

It looks like an expensive option to get a taxi as I’m traveling alone.

I had thought the bus to Dénia them a taxi as my flight is to late to get a bus from Denia to Oliva 

Any recommendations would be appreciated

I have been unable to locate that document and was hoping someone could give me ‘detailed’ directions on how to locate it on the site (screen shots would be very helpful).

Can anyone recommend a local Oliva/Gandia/Denia teacher to assist with a monthly visiting UK visitor with intermediate Spanish conversation lessons ? usually visiting one week a month) throughout the year but looking for a few days during the visit 

Ideally Weekdays during the mornings would be preferred but he is flexible with times 

This Might suit a retired person or a student studying to become an English teacher 

Willing to pay the standard rates for private tuition

Also can anyone recommend conversation groups which take place in the area ?

Hola everyone !

As we spend more time in Spain (usually one week each month) can I get advice for hiring a car 

I am Using RecordGo at the moment -about £160 a week - full cover -all in. Given the fact that the past two months I’ve found dents in the stupidly small multi story car parks - plus our friendly locals seem to enjoy using bumpers to wedge themselves away from the kerb instead of reversing !!!! The full cover is a MUST !

I am wondering what advice others can give me in order to ensure stress-free car driving around the costa ? Some mention using a search engine scanner for best deals but I want to ensure I have full protection and others advise to buy a car and pay an airport storage fee

Can I get some sound advice from the knowledgeable people on here to make a good decision 

RecordGo are very reliable and efficient but they seem to keep adding little extra charges each time (last week they have added a theft/roadside assistance/car cleaning and key loss for €25 )

Any advice would be appreciated

Car Insurance Renewal

I paid my renewal on a Monday  2 days later on the renewal day I got the new documents  all ok

That evening when I returned to my car the police were looking at my car and told me I had no Insurance !  I showed the email of the certificate No they said its not on our system  and they called the  GURA and the car was impounded until the insurance was on their system and I was issued with a Penalty notice of  800 euro   discounted to 400 if paid in 20 days   ......Next day I went to the police stn  still not on the system ....contacted the Insurance  they said it was insured with no lapse in cover as i have been with them 3 years and would supply a letter from the underwriters    FRIDAY   the car is now on the police system and we get the car at 7pm having to pay 100e Towing charge  Police not interested in any letter from insurance   So although we renewed according to the police for almost 3 days we had no insurance !  what id we had an accident ?  Or stopped by police while driving as this is a higher fine upto 6000 e  ??    I feel i need to pay the 400  asap not incur more possible cost    But who is to blame ?    and what should I do ?
