Redovan is your nearest, easy to get to down the N340 towards Orihuela.

As I understand Redovan require customers to be fluent in Spanish, at San Bartolome they don't as some of the testers speak adequate English, as does the guy on the desk.

In both cases appointments are necessary but unless it's relatively early don't expect to go through at anything like your alloted time.

At San Bartolome last week a 16:20 appointment time turned into closer to 18:00 which BTW meant that the diesel engine in my car had cooled to well below the temperature it needed to be for the emissions test and it barely scraped through.

Next time I'll make sure my appointment is the first of the day so my brief thrash down the A7 to get it throughly warmed up won't be wasted!
