Absolutely disgusting to ban something that should be included as a cultural heritage event!
Off topic, an RAF Squadron Leader from Harrogate used to come across to meet me at Bolton. Because of his rank he qualified for a driver. Whilst we were in our meeting, the driver had to go across to Bury to stock up the Squadron Leader with Bury black puddings - plus he got some for himself as well.
