Where can I buy chickens and coops

I am hoping to have free-range chickens again, for their eggs, where can I get them, I will be in Albatera.

Any suggestions or advice are welcome,

Hiya not sure how away you are from La Villa Joiosa but there's an animal supply shop here you can buy chickens from, they also provide the feed and the coop, plus other things and garden supplies

Thanks, that's helpful, it's 50 minutes away from Albatera but doable. what is the name if you have it ? Cheers.

Hi Karen,

There is a gardening center in Albatera, which stocks live stock and everything what you need. It's called Agrogarden Terra. Talke to the owner, if you don't find exactly what you are looking for, they order it for you.

Its called Nutrivila. 50mins isn't far and it's nice to get out, we have a beach so make it a day out

Agrogarden in Albatera: I cannot recommend it. They only have the animals there at certain times of the year. The animals are kept in a very confined space and their beaks are severely shortened. Animal welfare is clearly neglected here.

If you have any further questions about chickens, we will be happy to answer them. You are also welcome to visit us. We live between Albatera and Crevillente above the canal (bridge 8).
