Have a problem with a gas boiler...Morco FEB-24ED * ...Hot water supply when activated will not fire up the boiler however,

If I turn on the Central Heating and then activate the hot water the boiler heats the water, turn off the central heating and the hot water is still activated.

There is no fault code entered in the viewig panel.

Hi

I have sorted a problem like this before, it may simply be that the taps are a bit caked up. Where the water comes out there is a mesh that can be unscrewed. Once this is cleaned out the boiler may fire up properly.

Im not saying that is definitley going to fix it. But is easily worth a try, especially before calling out an engineer.
