Hi graham c,

If you down load viamichelin it gives you all the options, including a route avoiding toll roads, hotels,b and bs etc you can click on the hotel sign and go to their website

And book the night... great tool very useful.

We used the viamichelin tool and went via Paris, Claremont Ferrand, Perpignan, Gerona, Barcelona and then onto Albir. We stopped in Claremont Ferrand in France and Cambrils in Spain. We used toll roads which cost around £100 in total. Once you get to southern France the drive is stunning

Enjoy!

Hi Tracy66

Great news! Glad you arrived safely. We’ve considered driving down, but our car is a bit of a beast (we keep a car in Spain so would only be for the journey) and used the Viamichelin tool to cost it up - just over £500 one way, for fuel and tolls. I’m going to explore to see if there’s a one way hire option, in a more economical car🤪🥂

I wonder how much it costs in fuel and tolls in an average car?

Hi,

What car have you got and I will use viamichelin to get you an estimate?

Hi GCfromVC

You can go the website and if allows you to choose route, overnights ets. Also you can put in your car and it will calculate the approximate costs🤪🥂

Think the Toyota will run about the same as ours but if it’s a “one-off” journey, may well be worth it.🤪🥂
