Like Tom1916 and some others have said, Centauro are the best. If you take their full full insurance. Price depends on if you book for 7 days, 10 days or 14 days. You pay the same for 10 days as you do nearly for 14 as it is in between weeks. If you sign up with them on their website you get discounts throughout the year and earn points you can use as discount on bookings also.

Thank you everyone, this visit I am following this advice as I have limited time and don't want any problems. Maybe in the future I will try one of the cheaper options.

...hey will find damage, goldcar for example have a notorious reputation for this.
Have to say , I've used Goldcar 20+ times and never had any issues (i use many others as well , depends on price at the time), just saying, also those of you that mention taking out full insurance with the hire company, I'm pretty sure that all you are doing is buying an insurance product from them as a third party, in the even to of a claim you will still have the hassle , i don't think you just return the car and walk away regardless of how much damage it has, (someone will correct me if that's not the case I dare say), i have my own excess insurance cover, multi trip for as many hires i happen to need in a year.

You are very lucky with GoldCar there are hundreds of posts about their scamming of customers and their truspilot review page is probably the worst I have ever seen. Lara Cars who I mentioned previously include full comprehensive insurance and you just leave the keys in the boot when you return the car and walk away.

Maybe lucky , i don't know , i prefer to pick up one from the airport terminal and not have to bother with transfer / shuttles etc, i tend to go got the likes of Gold Car ./Firefly / Record Go etc, i book through doyouspain and prices are always compettitve

Which magazine recently (12th May 2023) advised renters to avoid Goldcar, it came out bottom of all hire car companies reviewed.
