A few years ago, one of her cats got into our downstairs bedroom. Unaware that a cat was inside, my husband closed the sliding window over as he walked by. The following day, we heard a racket coming from somewhere but thought it was next door. The woman who feeds all these cats must have been aware that one was missing so she clearly opened our window and freed him.  At some stage I opened the bedroom door and was totally horrified with the sight that met me.  The beds were destroyed, covered in urine and faeces along with black cat hair. The rugs were ruined too and the smell was horrendous. I was left badly out of pocket. I went to the woman’s house on a couple of occasions But she didn’t open the door.   There you have it, the result of a cat lover and that’s only my unfortunate experience. Cats have no loyalty or indeed respect for people’s property.

As a family,we had a cat for 15 years and loved him dearly. I’m not a cat hater but people don’t want stray cats pooing and causing damage to their property.

I’ve watched families at the pool recoil when their child walks in cat poo or gets their hands covered in it. It’s quite disgusting and  grossly unfair to unsuspecting families. yes, cats need to be fed but they shouldn’t be permitted to defecate all over the communal grounds.

Feeding feral cats makes them more fertile so its a perpetual problem.  I have always understood that its an offence to feed them for that reason.  I wouldnt hurt any animal but I certainly wont be feeding them or allowing other peoples to defacate on my property.

I´ve just walked home. The local lady who feeds the feral cats had obviously eaten prior to procreation. (that´s the cats!)

The 3 rats were enjoying the rest.

It´s natures way ´til humans interact. Sorry........ nothing to do with dog poo, just an observation.

This is a weird thread…

anyhow, how does anyone know the aforementioned dog was not a stray?

lot of assumptions going on here me thinx…

and for all the righteous ‘picker uppers’ out there, perhaps spending more time with the dog in the ‘appropriate place for poop’ would be better than smearing it onto the pavement; the answer for ‘can’t help where the dog needs to go…’ maybe stay home until the animal has done its business on your own domestic premises rather than dashing through the public streets hoping to hit a piece of not so spare ground before the accident happens.

definition of NIMBY springs to mind

just my 2c
