Yes....swings and roundabouts......we pay £124 pm council tax in U.K.......so weighing up all the costs we would be paying out....still better off in Spain. We wouldn’t be moving there otherwi

No 170 but my community fees and suma in spain was 80 e and income tax 5400e pa. But was one of the few legals

Check the income tax in spain allowance 6900 e then 24pc

But UK tax allowance is £11,500pa or over 65, mine is £11,830, hubby is 75 so his is over £12,000. My fuel monthly is also £55mnth(last year £50) 4bed bungalow, but only 2 people in it. I really dont agree that Spain is cheaper unless you,re allowing for a lot of smoking and drinking. I,ve just returned home this week after a month in Spain and all my fruit and veg and meat was cheaper here.My council tax is £140mnth, but my fuel is a lot cheaper and my IBI is €349yr. I think it all balances out, but cant equal the weather.

Well said I was very surprised on our return to uk I gone from paying 5400e tax to none and our electric and gas in spain was working out at over 100e a month
