Thanks just wondering if anyone is going through the process now, incase of any changes
Reading a Spanish newspaper article and it warns about renewal being refused in some cases. Due to late applications, not able to show sufficient funds or medical care and time out of Spain in the previous years.
Just make sure you apply in plenty of time as appointments are a bit hit and miss and you still meet the original requirements.
Oh, it also mentioned 17 people in Alicante refused due to falsifying documents such as bank details but they were from Middle Eastern countries like Egypt and Jordan.
