Sorry to interject - but isn't Danish bacon supposedly the best one? Also in the EU, so none of this extra 30% or so Brexit tax/expense?

Neither of those places in Almoradi.
I get my English-type sliced bacon from either the English butcher's shop in Ciudad Quesada or Reeves' Butchers in San Luis.
They have it in the food and drink store in Catral

Mercadona's 'Lomo Back Bacon Estilo Britanico' is brilliant, and I prefer it to any of the bacons available in 'British' shops. Very lean and thinly sliced... crisps up beautifully in the air fryer or grill.

Best bacon is from the Chop Shop in Quesada, unsmoked thick sliced fresh back bacon. Excellent quality.
They also make their own sausages, far superior to Richmond sausages.
All their meat is excellent quality it's worth a visit, you can always buy plenty and freeze it in small quantities, which is what I do .
Hi, I found theses guy, very helpful. They will help me get offal for my ferrets when I move over this year. I was planning my personal bacon and sausage stash too. :)
