I agree, I've had both my jags (through my work) so personally I'd be in favour of a vaccination passport.....

I understand that having had the jab(s) doesn't preclude you from being a carrier!

Free movement is a linchpin of the European Union, you can't pick and choose that's why the UK voted to Brexit. We can now make our own decisions

Brexit has had nothing to do with the Spanish driving rules they are there for everyone. Check on the N332 site which is run in collaboration with officers of the Guardia Civil for English speaking people.

David2816. You may have been correct previously regarding freedom of movement but during this pandemic countries have chosen to close their borders unilaterally. French citizens are forbidden entry to Germany as are Cech and Austrians. In fact the EU administrators are currently threatening to bring, I think seven, countries to the EU court for doing this exact thing.

They could still be carriers and transmit the disease. The full impact of the vaccines on transmission is still uncertain.
Yep great vaccine. It doesn’t stop you getting it so it doesn’t stop you transmitting it so what does it do My head hurts 😩

Yep just make sure you contact your insurance company and get a green coloured form and you’ll be fine

It is now suspected to bring about a 30% or more reduction in transmission.
PHE study shows three-quarters of over 70s have COVID-19 antibodies - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
"The latest vaccine effectiveness data from PHE show that in those aged over 70, both the Pfizer-BioNTech and Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccines reduce the risk of getting symptomatic disease by around 60% after a single dose. This protection lasts for several weeks.
In those aged over 80, protection against hospitalisation is around 80% and the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is 85% effective at stopping people aged over 80 from dying from COVID-19."
This is a fantastic performance for the vaccines.
