Hi
i am due to complete on my apartment purchase within the next few weeks and was seeking advice on how to change the utility bills from the present owners to my name. my legal advisor has kindly offered to do this for me for the princely sum of 500 euros which i thought was expensive for something i may be able to do for myself. any advice would be appreciated

That's a rip off. It's very easy. Show up at the office and fill out a form, that's all.

thanks for the advice, i thought it was a bit expensive. is there offices in Almoradi that i can do this?

Your solicitor should do this for you as part of their services without extra charge.

thats what i thought, but obviously not. (they also want 500e to prepare a spanish will!) i have informed them that i will be looking elsewhere for these services
