Yes Tricia,   I am also 69 and I believe the 65 to 69s are the next to be vaccinated in ascending order.  I have had to cancel my appointment in Ireland . I received a text on Sunday to present for my first AZ vaccine on Wednesday morning 21st.     Clearly this was n...

...ot enough time to organise flight and quarantine on arrival etc.   As I am registered here I am hoping the text will come within the next few weeks.  Things are moving at least , delays are unavoidable given the supply issues.

Thats really good news. Whereabouts do you live I'm in Cabo Roig

Hi did you go to the building behind Carrafour and if so did they give you an appointment for your 2nd vaccine?  Most of my friends who have had their 1st vaccine were given a slip of paper with the date for their 2nd vaccine. my husband went for his 1st vaccine in Torry. It he said they did...

...n’t give him an appointment for his 2nd vaccine.  Just wondering is he missed anything as he is a little deaf.

Hi, my partner went there but when we received a message to go for his vaccine it also said when to go for his next one, 30th June

I did go to the place behind Carrafour, I only received one vaccine text message and at the centre I was given no information about a second, Also a friend of mine was the same, her age 62, another friend received a text with both appointment's at the very beginning, mid to late March of the AZ vaccination process within Torrevieja, his age 64, and has to attend his second appointment at the end of June? = 12/13 weeks, So No I was given no other date for a second vaccine appointment, I feel we will just have to wait for a second text. Perhaps nearer to the time I will visit my local health centre and asked about the second dose. Good luck, stay safe and healthy my friend.

I live in Los Balcones. Just to clarify, I haven't received an appointment text for Torrevieja yet, it was the Irish appointment I had to cancel for today due to travel restrictions.

I had phone call today and my appointment is this Friday for the Pfizer vaccine at Cabo Roig.  I am a bit scared about side effects though.  I am 73.

My wife & daughter had 2 doses each of Pfizer in Jan-early Feb and had no side effects. The  community hospital where my wife works is for elderly patients aged between 63 and 96. All those residents had 2 doses of Pfizer and all are still well nearly 3 months later. You’ll be fine

the astra is a low budget vaccine for poorer countries, there is nothing at all wrong with it , as you should know all vaccines have side effects, and it is the same for all medicines, the risks are so much higher if you dont have the vaccine, im afraid because europe were slow out of the traps and couldnt get any astra vaccines, they went into ( if we cant have it. nobody can mode) depriving  people from getting the vaccine, then they said the over 80s could have it and then changed it to the under 30s, also said the 2nd vaccine should be given in 3 weeks. instead of 12 weeks and have changed that now. this is incompetence of the highest order, imagine if the uk had followed the same route as europe,, seanie
