Hi, we are visiting Benferri for a week starting Sunday 7th August until Sunday 14th. We stayed here 3 years ago & loved it!!! We don’t have a hire car this time, I know there are a few shops & restaurants in walking distance but could you tell me if there is anything else? Cafe’s, festivals, etc. last time we visited I think there was some kind of festival for a female saint or something similar, we would love to experience some Spanish    fiestas!
many thanks

Chan

Hi

There is fiesta for one of the patron saints that starts on the 12th until the 21st of August. There is a cafe in the ayuntamiento plaza that is popular in the mornings, if you like sport there is the sports centre and the pizza place is supposedly really good, the football ground is walkable if there is a game on but as Benferri is a very small quiet village not much else happens.

When you arrive call in at the ayuntamiento and try to get any info they have on things happening in the area is your best bet.

Enjoy your holiday.

Thank you so much for that information. I will have a walk about the area. We loved our time in Benferri 3 years ago and have waited a long time to go back!
