Hiya thought my mornings info may help the people on here who like me have been paying ridiculous amounts for electric. After 4 months we finally asked at the office what was the problem. Turns out we get a discount but need to go in and ask for it every 6months to keep it. Our last bill was 200euro and already paid so over the next week they will put our discount back on for the remainder of this month and start again in may.

All that gltters is not gold. Your story sounds to me like from outer space. Never believe what you are told or, worse,  what you are promised - everyone wants your money and invents whatever to rip you off. Stay on the safe side, Iberdrola is the top dog, alle the rest is resellers with an uncertain future. Take the 10A household contract (some 4,5 KW max.) and forget all tour worries. Discounts apply for the 65. Many happy returns.

We are with Iberdrola for anyone who over pays, I know we weren't the only ones because other people have complained on here about the expensive bills from them. But thank you for ever continuing positivey

you can also get a fixed rate of around 15 cents a kwh but you have to go and have a visit with the towns social worker and have under a specific amount of income

Might be worth looking into for the resident, low earners

my roommate is retired on a disability pension and our electric bill has been 30 odd euros a month in our new location compared to 100 plus a month without going to(thru) the social worker in our last location

You can get a massive discount if registered as a large family aswel, anyone with more than 2 kids. Thats handy too know for people with low income, we don't fall into that category but with what they were charging us we probably soon would've been 🤣🤣🤣🤣
